Foundry worker wanted in Suwannee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Suwannee County, Florida. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
