Now hiring: construction labourer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction labourer in Pulaski County, Kentucky. You will work on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it The role involves: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
