Immediate opening: 360 excavator operator (Washington)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Wahkiakum County, Washington. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains 2+ years on the tools preferred.
