Formwork carpenter wanted in Botetourt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
