Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
