Join our team: we are hiring a press setter operator in Modoc County, California. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
