Hand presser — Lea County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Lea County, New Mexico. You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
