GTAW welder — Dearborn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Dearborn County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
