Cook — Mid Ulster

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cook in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. Requirements: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
