Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in El Paso County, Texas. You will work at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
