Power float operator — Pemiscot County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Pemiscot County, Missouri. The job is on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 4+ years on the tools preferred.
