Bricklayer wanted in Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Jackson County, Alabama. You will work at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
