Immediate opening: scaffolding charge hand (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Pecos County, Texas. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Day to day you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. Requirements: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Meals and transport allowance provided.
