We are recruiting: we are hiring a dough maker in Livingston County, Michigan. The job is at a cake shop. The role involves proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
