Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Lake County, Oregon. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
