Semi-automatic welder wanted in Washoe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Washoe County, Nevada. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
