Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Pacific County, Washington. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level Day to day you will erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
