Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
