Plant operator — Kosciusko County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Kosciusko County, Indiana. The job is at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
