Core maker — Soba

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Soba, Kaduna State. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦205,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
