Now hiring: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Gladwin County, Michigan. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
