Gantry crane operator — Erie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Erie County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Six days a week, one day off.
