Vertical milling machine operator — Nicholas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Six days a week, one day off.
