Mechanical press operator wanted in St. Lawrence County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in St. Lawrence County, New York. You will work at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
