Meat trimmer — Oregon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Oregon County, Missouri. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
