Die-casting operator wanted in Taos County

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Taos County, New Mexico. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
