Urgent requirement: backhoe loader operator (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in El Paso County, Colorado. You will work at a stone quarry. The role involves: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
