Immediate opening: flatlock machine operator (Rivers State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Khana, Rivers State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Full-time with occasional weekends.
