Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Jackson County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift.
