Fabrication workshop technician • Edwards County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Edwards County, Texas. You will work on a window-and-door production line. On a typical shift you will drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
