We are recruiting: single needle operator (Cross River State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Bakassi, Cross River State. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Full-time with occasional weekends.
