D6/D8 dozer operator — Sandusky County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Sandusky County, Ohio. You will be based on a road construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
