Sample machinist — Ibi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Ibi, Taraba State. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 3+ years on the tools preferred.
