Tile setter • Grainger County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile setter in Grainger County, Tennessee. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. Your main tasks: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency You should have: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
