Crane operator — San Joaquin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in San Joaquin County, California. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
