Formwork carpenter — Union Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites You will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
