We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Travis County, Texas. You will work in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
