Join our team: formwork carpenter (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Harvey County, Kansas. You will work on a residential tower site. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
