We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Osceola County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off.
