Prep cook wanted in Pope County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Pope County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
