Rebar fixer — Middlesbrough

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Middlesbrough, England. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
