Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Deaf Smith County, Texas. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day-to-day duties: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
