Power float operator • Marion County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Marion County, Mississippi. You will be based in a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
