Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Sagbama, Bayelsa State. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦205,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
