Turning centre operator — Wabash County

Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Wabash County, Indiana. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 2+ years on the tools preferred.
