Ladle pourer — Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
