Formwork carpenter — West Sussex

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in West Sussex, England. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
