Ladle pourer — Shackelford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Shackelford County, Texas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
