Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
