Restoration bricklayer — Monroe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Monroe County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
